On Sept 16th 2006 early morning I woke up for the usual moring pee but didn't even get as far as the bedroom door when a gush of what I thought was pee came flooding out from you know where so frantic me changing clothes cleaning the floor ( yes I was cleaning up the mess.) I walked over to my partners bedside and softly said hunny I think my waters broke, I havent seen a man jump out of bed quicker than that ever! we rang the hospital and they said slowly make your way in so I showered and straightened my hair (cause I had to look good for labour duh) did the whole make up thing my sister in law came into the bathroom and asked me what the hell I was doinall that for when it was all going to be ruined in a short time but no I didn't care I just wanted to look good. we went to the hospital and the kept me there but no nothing happened no labour nothing! so I had to spend the night there and at 11 am the next morning when still nothing they decided to induce me, so in with the drip on with the straps and we got started after 2 hours of non stop contraction I decided I wanted something for the pain so next up was the epidural and I must admit the drip hurt more than that! honestly for the next 6 hrs I didn't really feel a thing they had the epi up so high I was on cloud nine! at 7 pm after an hour of pushing a nurse examined me to find my angel was around the wrong way and stuck in my pelvis and they wanted to do an emergency c-sect. so we went down to surgery and 25 mins later my daughter was born. I swore black and blue I would never go back again not after all that pain of the c-sect but now 4 months on i would love another baby its amazing how you forget all that pain so quickly!
