I went to the hospital on the 19th of july 2004 conplianin of back pian.... I was there for bout 4 hours went i was sent home and told that I would have a week left before I was due to have my daughter. So went home and was none the wise. but the followin mornin my waters broke and I had no idea what it was. so I contnuined the day as per normal. till bout 11 oclock... it made it hard to as I had just moved to brisbane and we were looking for a carvan park with my mum. So I didnt complian when the pain got worse. Well we were getting closer to the city when I had to go to the toilet. So mum took the next exit off the motorway and pulled up at the 1st petrol station. well I pushed pass my brothers to go to the toilet. When I sat down my daughter had crowned. So I was screamin for my mum. Well she came aswell as my partner at the time. My labour was ova within mins. my mum help me deliver my daughter before the ambos arrived. They sent out two ambos the 1st got lost. Then the second was to late for the birth of makayla. To cut the cord my dad grabed to pieces of string and gave them to mum. Mum then tried the cord in two places. Then cut the cord. Well to this day I have a heathly child and I wouldnt change where I had her. it willl make for a good stary to tell on her 18th. Well I made it to the hospital with my son but still I didnt have any pain killer.... they nurses were takein bets on when I would have him. but none of them thorugh I would have him so fast. I was still in my clothes when I had him. They were goin to do an internal as they hadnt done one snce i arrived. well they never got the chance too. Now I was told that ur 1st couple of childern they labours are long and painful. I would like to stress to otha 1st time mums that this isnt always the case, that every gal is different. its better to ask ur mum how did she go and then u have some kind of an idea. As fast labours run in my family.
