Submitted by Anonymous

"I was wondering if anyone had any info or advice about thrush in pregnancy? I am approx  41 weeks pregnant and basically I want to know what I can use on it, and can I then take thrush pills while breast feeding after baby is born.

Thank You. "

I got it to when i was pregnant i was perscribed the cansten cream (but not to use applicator) but as i was late into my preganacy when my son came through the birth canal he picked up the trush in his mouth (so he had to have an oral cream for the first few weeks) and cause i was breatfeeding the trush was then tranfered from his mouth to my nipple making them red itchy and infected making breastfeeding even more painful after all that i continued using the cansten cream down stairs and on my nipple just had to wash off before feeding and reapply after. My advice is to go to a chemist and get some cansten cream.
