I have mixed feelings abou thtis aswell only because when i was pregnant with my first child, I got told that i was havign a boy only to find out that it was a girl when she was born lol
I ma pregnant again now and I ahve found out the sex but I have not gone to any great lengths of buying specific gendered clothes or anything (just incase ). My advice is find out what you are having but be sure you want to first but dont go and buy all pink or blue stuff because you may just end up wasting a hell of a lot of money just like i did :(

I found out with my first darling daughter, and I wished I didn't as soon as I found out cos I would have loved a surprise.
and wirh my second daughter I kept it a secret and that was much nicer...! just my opinion but keep it a secret!

Just buy white & yellow!

I'm currently preg with baby no.2, I only just had my ultrasound 2wks ago and I was so curious to find out this second time round. I again, decided to keep this one a surprise because I had also done so with our first. I know how exciting it can be and how curious we can get, but my advise would be to keep it a surprise. They say it can be so much "easier" to prepare and get things organised for the gender of your child. I just think that no matter what, a baby is a baby and getting prepared for a child is far more important than preparing what colours to buy.
My hubby wanted to find out so bad with our first. Once we had him, you'd be surprised at how much it doesnt matter if its a girl or boy. We were just so happy to see him and to know that he was safe and well. It wasnt until a few mintures later when the midwife asked what we had, that we finally realised LOL.
But congrats on your pregnancy and hope all goes well with the ultrasound! Even if you choose to find out its your own personal choice and I'm sure you'll be happy with what ever it maybe.

when i was pregnant with my first child i did not find out wot i was having, due to me only being 18 i wanted to concentrate more on the labour, with my second child i did find out wat i was having so i could be more prepared then the first tym round i was so un organised cuz i did not no wot to buy and everyone says just buy yelloe and white, my belife on that is thats fine buy yellow and white but the minute you have the baby and no wot sex your beautiful child is you go out and buy all these clothes for the baby and never end up using the yellow and white ones. i dont know how true this is, but a few of my friends have found out and the only times they have made a mistake is when they have been told they were having a boy it was a girl i have never been told of any stories where they have made the mistake of girls. but at the end of the day you are the only one who has to be happy with the descion you make no one else can tell u what is right and wot is wrong. i wish you all the best in your future with your beautiful little child.

I had my ultrasound last week and I found out the sex. I find it so much easier to prepare for babies arival. I have a 9 month old son, and I still have all his baby clothes, and now, I found out I am having another boy so theres not much I have to rush out and get because I already have majority of it all here.
