Terrible Two’s - he won’t sleep in his own bed!

"HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!!
My son Kooper who has just turned 2,and decided last night that he wouldn't stay in his bed. I have never, ever had a problem with him sleeping so I am a bit lost as to what to do.
I am at this very second trying the closed door thing and going in every 1 then 2 then 3mins etc to put him back in bed. He's not crying, just at the door with his fingers underneath trying to get the door open! He can open the door easily, so my other half is standing there holding the door closed!!
Has anyone else experienced this and what ideas/things did you try???

haha thats so funny my son turned 2 last week and decided to do the exact same thing. as soon as he opens that door we pick him up say goodnight give him his teddy etc put him in the cot shut the door and go the first night wehad to do it about 15 times but after a few nights he realised this was always gonna happen and hasnt done it ever since. good luck! oh and dont talk or anything to them just say goodnight put them in and go
