You only go to court if the mediation doesnt work.....which is tough and you dont want to, but you may have to if your ex wont be reasonable. If you find a lawyer they will arrange legal aid for you, ring around and find one who does free consultations. Btw, you can only claim rights to see your baby if you are on the birth certificate, which i assume you are, but just thought id mention it. Good Luck!

I feel horrible for you i wish i could give some better advice but all i can suggest is that you do what i said above and get a lawyer from legal aide and do the mediation. BTW she is only allowed to take what the government says she can have in child support and also she can ask for half the cost of clothing and school supplies. Hope everything works out for you

thanks everyone, unfortunately she just demanding more money when i have already givin her plenty this........she requires a YES answer to everything and when i say no she just turns things into "well your not seeing you daughter" a little unfair i reckon

Hi .. i suggest if you have done nothing wrong then you should get court papers drawn up legally so that she HAS to let you see your daughter or she could keep doing this.I know how you must feel im going through the courts at the moment with my ex and it is not fun but some things you just have to do so you can see you little one :)
