"Hello, I'm hoping to get my 6 month old into the modelling world, but I'm not sure how to go about it.  I've had a look at a few modelling places on the internet, but I don't really know what to look for.  They are all so expensive to.  Is anyone elses children involded in modelling, and if so, how did you get them involved?"

My son was with Bambini Modelling for a while. I personally didn't like it, there is a lot of bitchiness from other mum's. I found it wasn't a pleasant environment for my son. I would suggest going to a smaller but well known agency. Bambini is huge, it has around a thousand kids on their books, so my son only got one job within a year. Also you have to be prepared for a lot of driving and waiting around for castings. Ring places like Target and Kmart and ask them which agencies they use the most, and go with one of them. There are a lot of dodgy one's out there! If your baby enjoys being in front of the camera I say go for it. They also get payed quite a bit of money, so you can put it away for uni or whatever!!!!

Oops I forgot to say how to get them involved. When you decide which agency you want them to go with they will let you know what to do. Some like you to e-mail photo's first. Some just get you to come in for an interview. What usually happens is you go in for the interview and there will be heaps of other mum's with their kid's. You wait until it's your child's turn for the interview, and if they like what they see they get you to pay up front. So make sure you have saved enough money before you go. Hope that helps. Good Luck!
